Fabolous says he creates the freestyles the same day he releases them, describes athlete's response to his freestyle series.

The NBA Playoffs are in full swing and so is Fabolous' NBA Friday Night Freestyle Series. Coming off the release of his most recent one, "The World Is Yours" and last year's release of his latest album, The Young OG Project Fab recently spoke with Billboard about basketball and his NBA freestyle series.
"[I do it every] week. I wait til Friday," he explained. "I listen to the beats all week. I listen to 90s joints, I’ve got a 90s playlist. And I listen to see which joints come in to….Towards the end of the week, I start saying, 'This one sounds like a vibe I want to go to.' And then by Friday, I start really putting it together. So thats why it kinda comes out late sometimes. Because I actually sit in on it on Friday. I don’t want it to be premeditated. Started on Monday and Tuesday and then put out Friday. I want that organic Friday energy."
The Brooklyn native also named a few athletes who've responded to his freestyles with approval.
"Mostly it's just been showing love like, 'Yo man, I heard you use my...'" Fab described. "The other day, Dez Bryant [pulls out phone, scrolls through]. Oh here. The other day Dez Bryant hit me here, 'yo just to let you know fam, you're snapping on everything.' The guys, they love hearing their name and stuff like that. Victor Cruz, that’s another guy, he heard it and was like, 'Yo man, that was hilarious.'"
Finally, Fabolous talked about his relationship with LeBron James and says he is annoyed when people "bandwagon" onto the basketball superstar depending on his success/what team he's on.
"LeBron’s a close friend of mine, so I always root for him," he said when asked about the Cavalier small forward. "I never was the bandwagon LeBron fan. When he went to Miami...you know he’s still my boy and I want to see him be successful, but I hated that everybody just kind of like bandwagon [fanned] LeBron. But at the same time, I had a lot of love for him."
Fabolous also spoke about how his New York teams fared in the NBA Playoffs and says the Cleveland Cavaliers have the best shot at winning The Finals.

BURSTED: NELLY Got Arrested For Doing Drugs

Popular American rapper, Cornell Haynes aka Nelly has been arrested by the Tennessee state trooper for drug charges after marijuana and meth were found on his tour bus.

Nelly was arrested on Saturday morning, April 11, 2015 on felony drug charges in Tennessee after a state trooper stopped his tour bus for not having the correct ID stickers.

According to reports, the troopers noticed the smell of marijuana when they stopped the bus and then proceeded to search it. The search uncovered marijuana, meth, as well as multiple handguns. Nelly and one of the other five people in the bus were immediately arrested and taken to the Putnam County Jail.

In an official statement released by the Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Securities, Nelly was charged with felony possession of drugs, simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

At approximately 9:20 a.m. on Saturday, Trooper Michael Loftis stopped a Prevost motor coach bus on Interstate 40 near the 275 mile marker for failure to display a U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and International Fuel Tax Association (IFTA) sticker on the vehicle.

Further investigation revealed approximately 100 small Ziploc bags that are commonly associated with the sale of narcotics and numerous handguns, including a gold-plated 50-caliber Desert Eagle pistol, a 45-caliber Tarus pistol, and a 500 magnum Smith and Wesson.

The bus was occupied by six subjects, one of whom was identified as Nelly, 40, Brian Jones, 44, of St. Louis, Missouri. Mr. Jones, a convicted felon, was also in possession of a handgun and was charged accordingly.

RIP. Five Star Music singer loses dad

According to a report by E247, Five Star Music recording act, Harrysong is currently mourning his dad barely two weeks after he celebrated his 34th birthday.

The report stated that Mr Songz, as the singer is known, lost his father on Friday, April 10, 2015.
